[Year-Round Housing] Draft Notice of Interest and Housing Conf.

As discussed at Tuesday meeting, here is a draft of the notice of interest (opened below and attached) we agreed to make to gauge future rental needs for our upcoming meeting with MaineHousing.   Please let me know ASAP if this needs changes.    I will wait until Sat. to hear back and then we can get it out to the folks we listed and others after that.
Also voted at the meeting was to pay the registration fee for 2 YRHCorp members to attend the Maine Housing Conference on Oct. 25.  Let me know if interested.   Thanks,  Mark

Notice of interest in future Rental Housing
 
We are in the initial process of a grant application to build two rental homes that would be available for long term stable rental (with a potential of ownership if interested).  Maximum monthly rent for an energy efficient new home would be a maximum of $850/month but could be lower depending on many loan and construction variables as yet unknown.   Your name is on a list of current or past Long Island residents who either rent here now or might reside here again if suitable housing were available.
While there appears to be sufficient demand initially to utilize these homes, the YRHCorp. needs to gauge as best as possible the future interest should vacancies occur.   We understand that it is difficult for most folks to anticipate such needs with an unknown time factor, but if your housing needs might include staying on or retuning to Long Island based on such availability,  we hope you will register with us at this time. 
 
            I(We) the undersigned wish to make known our interest in future rental housing as may become available through the Year Round Housing Corp.
            This “Notice of Interest” registration in no way obligates me (us) to any contract at this time,  but merely allows the Year Round Housing Corp. to be  aware of my (our) potential interest in this housing program.
