[Year-Round Housing] ??Habitat for Humanity presentation???? and HOUSING MONEY

Hi All,  
    I spoke with Stephanie Millette, our  Municipal Assistant who is 
involved with Habitat about setting up a  presentation/question and answer forum 
some day or evening if there is some  interest.   Probably the best time 
would be around 7PM an evening  of your choice.   I attended such a meeting on 
Chebeague before  Christmas,  and our Town land that is available for your 
use would count as  our in-kind contribution  to a Habitat project.    Please 
let me know  directly and soon if interested.  Please note what night of the 
week  works best for you.
 
Second  -   Nearly $2 million dollars in housing assistance is coming  
along soon for the unbridged islands to use for building loans as I understand  
it.  (Up to $150,000 per projectr/$400,000 per island and again, the Town  
land upon which you build may be local match part of the  deal.   This is 
just unfolding and details still are not ready for  release yet,  but the time 
to be thinking of possibilities is now as  this may have a very short window 
of availability
