[Year-Round Housing Committee] sample leases

Hello YRHC,

Attached are two files:

1.  An article from the Margaret Chase Smith policy center at  
UMaine.  It discusses "Community Land Trusts," which are common way  
to implement "leased land" housing projects.

2.  A sample lease from Islesboro Affordable Property.  Although this  
particular ground lease was created for land parcels with buildings  
already on them, much of the language would be useable in the  
projects we have discussed.

Both of these are PDF files.  You will need Acrobat reader to open them.

Thanks to all who came to the meeting last night.  Mark will send the  
minutes out soon.  Also, welcome to John Billings, the newest member
